From Fungal Globe to Parasol in 2 Days

Hello Friends,

I love the fascinating shapes of mushrooms and often photograph them when I find them ones that work well in 3D images. On Tuesday I spotted this "parasol" mushroom on a late morning dog walk, what I've previously described as a "fungal globe". Two days late I shot it again, this time in early morning light. It had flattened out into its namesake parasol shape. Both were from cha-cha shots with my Google Pixel 9 Pro cellphone, auto-aligned with 3dSteroid Pro, and converted to a phantogram in Photoshop.

Yesterday marked the 25th anniversary of the infamous 911 attack on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Pennsylvania. It was a day few will forget who witnessed live video feeds of commercial jet planes flying into buildings and later the twin towers collapsing.

We're less than two months from the mid-term elections. Historically the mid-terms tell an administration what it thinks of its policies, whether good or bad. I hope this one will provide a clear message from newly elected house representatives and senators, taking back their power, and going after the constant and ugly corruption of Trump and his people. One can hope.
