Meow Wolf Santa Fe
Hello Friends,
On our recent trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, we took our grandkids to Meow Wolf. It was our second time bringing them there, and no doubt there will be a third and likely more. Per their website, "Born in Santa Fe in 2008 as an underground art collective, the living being called “Meow Wolf” is made of hundreds of artists and storytellers from all over this universe. Together, we imagine and create new immersive worlds to explore." Originating in Santa Fe, Meow Wolf facilities can now be found in Houston, Grapevine (Texas), Denver, Las Vegas, and soon to come New York and Los Angeles.
It's a really fun way to spend a couple of fascinating hours, for both kids and adults. Imagination runs wild in this place as you wander through a seemingly endless maze of rooms and spaces. I highly recommend it.
The images here I shot with my Fuji W3 and processed with StereoPhoto Maker and Photoshop. These are traditional 3D images, and not my usual phantograms. The upper shot is of a fairly small diorama I found on a wall en route to the rest rooms. The lower shot is inside an all black-and-white room.
I'm not up to much of a rant this week, we've barely recovered from the usual illnesses we face after visiting our grandkids, walking-talking-germ-spreading machines. That said I find appauling the continuous series of firings of people and decimating of agencies that are there to hold the government accountable for its actions/inactions. Removing such safeguards sends a clear message that Trump and his people don't want to prevent their abuses to be found or reported. This past week Trump has spouted a steady stream of "I don't know", "ask ... about that", "I'm not involved in ...", when asked about any of many thorny issues, so as to create a layer of (im)plausible deniability and avoid responsibility of what's happening on his watch. It's entirely shameful and entirely predicatable.

Barry Rothstein
