From 2D to 3D to Phantogram

Hello Friends,

This came from a 2D cellphone shot of my now 16 month old shepherd mix Whiskey. I ran the 2D shot through DepthMaker, and android app by Masuji Suto, to convert the 2D image to 3D. The bottom image is the conversion. Next I used Photoshop to turn the 3D converted shot into a phantogram by approximating a rectangle to surround Whiskey (actually a trapezoid in the image) and matching up corner pixels. The top image is the conversion from traditional 3D to phantogram. Let me know what you think.

I've held off on voicing my opinions for a while, but here goes on a few bones I have to pick with the Trump administration. This is a partial list at best of all the awful stuff they're doing.

Pardons and Favors

Beyond the audacious pardons of nearly 1600 January 6 capital building rioters including many who violently attacked capital police officers, Trump has gone on to pardon a number of drug traffickers and financial and political fraudsters including but not limited to Ross Ulbricht, Henry Cuellar, Juan Orlando Hernández, Rudy Giuliani and Changpeng Zhao. In addition to pardons for their crimes, some or all were let off the restitution hook for money they fleeced from their victims. In other instances his Justice Department has dropped investigations and charges against other Trump allies.

Grift (just to name a few)

Trump and his family gained millions and perhaps billions on their crypto ventures, a good way to take bribes from foreign entities with no oversight.

Recently the Department of Homeland Security fast-tracked a deportation contract worth almost $1 billion to Salus Worldwide Solutions, a company with no previous government contracts, and known ties to a pro-Trump America First Policy Institute.

"Border Czar" Tom Homan's bribery charges for accepting a $50,000 cash payment bribe was shut down.

Kristi Noem faces scrutiny for a $220M DHS ad campaign awarded to a firm (Strategy Group) linked to her aides, bypassing competitive bidding, and questions about $99,999 contracts, and past state contracts for similar firms. To fly here around she's ordered two new private jets at $172M taxpayer expense.

FBI Director Kash Patel acquired a fleet of armored BMW X5s for his transport, and has been cited for using private jets to visit his girlfriend, as well as providing a security detail for the girlfriend and rides for her friends. More recently he's made a case for buying new private jets, as he considers the old ones outdated.

Donald Trump Jr. is a partner in Vulcan Elements which scored a $620 million loan from the Pentagon as part of $1.4 billion deal.

Media Relations and Free Press

A recently completed and thoroughly vetted "60 Minutes" news piece documenting the infamous El Salvador CECOT prison where hundreds of detained migrants were sent wasn't aired in the USA. The decision to kill the piece was made by newly installed Trump friendly Paramount Skydance Group CBS News’ editor-in-chief Bari Weiss. In the meantime Trump has been openly trying to influence the sale of Warner bros away from Netflix and toward the same Paramount Skydance Group. If it goes through that way heads unfriendly to the Trump adminstration will surely roll.

Culture

Trump replaced the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Art's board of directors with friedly sycophants who unanimously renamed the place "The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts". Many artists scheduled to perform there have cancelled as well as many who would be attending events there.

Against federal law of what a president can and can't do, Trump illegally demolished the east wing of the White House and is in the process of building a gargantuan ballroom that will dwarf the White House in it's place.

Epstein Files

The Justice Department as expected has been slow walking any meaningful release of the Epstein files as required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act. There's no doubt but that what they do release will shed little light on Trump's close relationshp with Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. Meanwhile Ms. Maxwell resides in a comfortable minimum security prison against federal law involving sex trafficers.

War and Peace

Under the guise of stopping drug trafficking to the USA Trump is using our military to destroy boats coming from Venezuela, and murdering their crews. More recently our military has been seizing oil tankers from there. Next he's threatening mainland invasion with the apparent intent of driving Venezuela's president Nicolás Maduro out of office.

The Trump administration still claims it backs Ukraine and condemns Putin's aggression, but they've pulled back from meaningful support, leaving it up to Europe to go up against Russia.

Healthcare

Trump's "big beautiful bill" will go a long way toward destabilizing healthcare in the USA, make it far more expensive, and cause millions to lose coverage.

Demonizing, Bullying and Detaining Immigrants

I don't think I need to go into the details of this one, if you're not aware of the issue please pull your head out of the sand.
