Waiting for the ComeTrumpance - A Rant
Hi All,

I don't like this image. It's dark, vacuous and ugly.

If it's difficult to get your head around what's going on, you're not alone. Do we deserve this? I'm afraid we do. As a whole our culture fell for it, and now we must now pay the price.

As there appears to be no bottom to what we must accept as modern discourse, it's natural to conclude we're in a new twisted remake of Twilight Zone, a place of moralistic tales that somehow keep going wrong.

Those of us who value truth as an objective currency have been chastened. We slip into numbness. We're mad as hell, but we'll have to put up with this for a quite a while longer.

Meanwhile supporters of the current administation are being cornered into ever more bizarre mental contortions to rationalize their support.

So here I sit, impatiently waiting. Waiting for our political leaders to recognize the danger of acquiescing to this madman. Waiting for them to stand up for the American values many of us so value. Waiting for the nightmare that has come to redefine our national identity to somehow find its path back home. Waiting for the comeuppance this man and his administration so richly deserve.
