Fly Away
Hi All,
Sorry, but first a commercial messages. If I didn't at least toss it at you, I'd be really stupid.
Our new 'Eye-Popping 3-D Bugs' (Chronicle Books) will be available in a few weeks. It's really good and creepy, and even has a pseudo back cover (someone flipped the image). Learn more about it at 3dBugs.asp . There you can:
See hundreds of images that did and didn't make it in the book,
Bravo to Fuji for having the guts to produce the worlds first point and shoot digital stereo cameras, the W1 and W3, and make them good enough that everyone in the 3-D community already has or wants one,
And to Cyclopital Cyclopital for producing beautiful attachments for the Fuji cameras. The macro attachment made today's image not just possible but pretty damn easy.
Todays shot was a point and shoot macro from our front yard, using yes, a Fuji W3 camera and Cyclopital macro attachment. It was batch processed through StereoPhoto Maker (they too deserve applause, but another time). Around 1/3 of the macros I take have been really nice. Anthropomorphically speaking, look for faces in the flowers behind the fly. Enjoy!
This image is a (shudder) not a phantogram, but I still invite you to print this image if you feel like it.
I send out a weekly email of these. If you'd like to be included, please go to the contact page and send me an email.
