Downtown Buffalo Night Shot
Hello Friends,
I've been in Buffalo, New York this past week at the National Stereoscopic Association's annual convention, a great venue for 3D geeks like myself to hang out, see fun 3-D imagery, and learn from each other about all the great new technologies. I'll get more into the tech in a later email, as for now just I'm just enjoying the time.
This is a shot off a reflective pool at Fountain Plaza in downtown Buffalo. From left to right, the three buildings it shows are the M&T Center, Electric Tower, and the Buffalo Savings Bank. I took this shot with my Google Pixel 6 Pro as a cha-cha shot, that is shoot the left eye image and slide over and take the right eye image. The quality of images coming off modern cellphones just keeps amazing me. I'm guessing I slid over around 5 to 6 feet from the first shot to the second. I auto-aligned the left and right eye images and cropped with Stereophoto Maker, and performed some other adjustments with Photoshop.
I'm happy to report that this image got an honorable mention in the on-site 3-D image competition at the convention. I hope you like it.
Regards,
Barry Rothstein
