Bucket of Pretzels at Friday night happy hour -- Maker Faire New York 2012
Hi All,
Welcome from New York. Maker Faire NY was as awesome as Maker Faire SF. As always it was a meeting ground for interesting, intelligent, fun loving creative people. It's Monday night here as I write this, Betsy and I are recovering from repeatedly explaining phantograms hundreds of times to curious passersby. Clearly it's what I enjoy doing, but two days of it is a bit much even for me.
The producers of Maker Faire take good care of their makers. We are, after all, "the show" that attendees pay good money to come and see. At Happy Hour (actually three hours) on Friday, there's paella by Chef Gerard, free beer, and yes, pretzels. In the picture these look more appetizing than they actually were, as they were doused by heavy rain, as were we makers waiting for the paella and beer, but all in good cheer.
It is a phantogram. I'd recommend that you add a few small pretzels to the bucket, and see what happens.
For those who did not see Visual Stereo in Long Beach, or even those who did, you can see much of what was shown at Pasadena Art Night at the Armory on October 12.
