Mystery Fruit
Hi All,
Happy Passover and Easter, and welcome spring! Lots of good images from all the lovely blossoms everywhere.
On a recent trip to the big island of Hawaii we had some time to spend near the Kona airport while waiting to pick up someone, and another time just prior to flying out ourselves. If you're in that situation I'd strongly recommend Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park just south of the airport. A visitor center provides history of the area and access to a beach trail, and a mile further south we found a marina and some great beach access. The park also features ruins of early fish ponds and old petroglyphs.
I found a tree there with this unknown fruit. If anyone can identify it please do so. I shot this with a Fuji W3 using frame sides for phantogram processing. The actual width of this image was approximately eight inches.
I think most of us were at least a little surprised to learn the substance of the redacted Meuller report after the bizarre song and dance fron attorney general William Barr. Now it's up to congress to obtain a full unredacted report and determine to what extent to continue to investigate and whether to bring up articles of impeachment against Trump. On principle I think they should do so, even if there's no expectation of the Senate to come up with a 2/3 majority to remove him from office. Regardless of whether further investigations can adequately prove conspiracy of Trump and his campaign working directly with Russians, his well documented attempts to thwart and/or end the Meuller investigation are beyond doubt. What's most appauling to me is Trump and some of his supporters continuing to lie that he's done nothing wrong and claim the report exhonerates him.
What do you think?
