Hi All,

I took this shot on a recent trip to Chicago and Wisconsin in my cousin Elaine's backyard, using a Fuji W3 and frame sides for phantogram processing. To show the subtlety and beauty of the petals, I opted to mask out most of the background. I hope you enjoy it.

But what in the world is a Celf? My college and graduate school work were in behavioral psychology, so I used that model to inhabit the inner world of my hero, Jill. The Prime Celf was created from her very first cell at zygote, others entered her from food and water, but most come into being as a result of her experiences.

What is a Celf

We're hundreds of thousands of tiny tin voices
Each one a' screaming to influence choices.
A nation of many, we yell out with price
The thoughts that we carry to help you decide.

We're made of the facts of a moment's attention
From all that the senses can gather and mention.
We're living recordings, we carry the text
Of things Jill sensed and did, and then what happened next.
