Blossom Challenge

Hi All,

All 4 parts of The Prime Celf can be downloaded at http://theprimecelf.com. This is a children's novella I wrote and Betsy illustrated in 1980. One of it's characters is Esmeralda, who was created as an amalgam of my two sisters. Below is a speech intended to inspire her troops to action.

Esmeralda

Even when
the galaxies
break open
and collied in space,
and loved and
treasured fantasies
fall broken
right before your face,
even when the ground you stand
might crumble the next step you take
and fearful
visions cause your hand
to tremble
and your soul to quake,

Even then
wells deep within
aspiring
to break out in song
resound and set your head a'spin
inspiring
actions brave and strong.
Even then
your eyes agleam
ignite and
lift you high above
to witness your most secret dream
alight with
everlasting love.

Ever flow
the sands of time
dissolving
in the wind and rain.
Ever grow
the strands of life
evolving in unbroken chain.
Ever strange
the paths we take
pursueing
beauty, joy and song.
Ever change
the forms we take
renewing
us within lifes throng.
