Fiddleneck
Hello Friends,
I believe this plant is Phacelia tanacetifolia, common name Fiddleneck, identified by the phone app Plant Net. I've seen it in a few locations in my neighborhood, and was happy to capture a pollenating bee in the shot.
Spring is slowly turning to summer here, with fewer fresh blossoming flowers, but I'll continue to bring my camera along to photograph what I can. I took this shot with a Panasonic Lumix BX7 with 3D lens, using frame sides for phantogram processing.
Regards,
Barry Rothstein
