Image of the Week 05-20-2017
Notes from Maker Faire
This past weekend I exhibited at the San Francisco Maker Faire (actually in San Mateo). Wifi at the event and at my hotel were poor, so this image-of-the-week is a little late.
I believe it was my eighth consecutive year there. I was assisted by Dave Curlander (spelling may be off), whose assistance made it possible for me to survive the weekend. Much thanks Dave.
Maker Faire is my favorite event of the year, even if entirely exhausting. There you'll find many thousands of bright, interesting, engaged, passionate, curious adults and kids. The attraction is to see cool stuff, lots of cool stuff, a true show and tell geek-fest. I love it.
This year as in the previous couple of years I took phantogram head shots of willing participants, the only catch being that after being photographed, they had to stick around and help work the image. This is Stephanie, and because of her reddish hair and purple lipstick, you'll get a fair dose of "retinal rivalry" looking at her, but it's a pretty cool shot.
You can see all the people I photographed this past weekend by clicking here.

I send out a weekly email of these. If you'd like to be included, please go to the contact page and send me an email.
