Good use of the Z-space
Hello Friends,
In 3-D geek terminology we sometimes speak of the Z-space, another term for depth. Thinking back to your early days in geometry classes, we often saw graphs depicting X (horizontal) and Y (vertical). Z would be that which sinks into or rises out of the graph, the 3rd dimension we're all so charged up about.
This shot came from Downtown Los Angeles Maker Faire two weekends ago, where I offered to shoot and email 3-D portrait shots of willing attendees. I shot well over 100 that day. With Ben's permission, ...
"Pictured are Ben and RJ Hermes, 2/3 of Team Hermes, a wonderful family that lives in Sherman Oaks, CA. Ben is an actor and digital marketer, RJ is in 8th grade and Amy, not pictured, runs a think-tank for an investment bank. Team Hermes always seeks out new and interesting activities to do across LA and loves to give back to the community. Recently, RJ created "Operation Pawesomeness" as a passion project at his school, a fundraiser to provide dog essentials to LA animal shelters. The physical donations were so successful, he became KNX Radio’s Hero of the Week on April 4th and began Phase II of the project. You can listen to the story and follow his progress here: https://www.audacy.com/knxnews/news/local/knx-hero-operation-pawesomeness."
I took this shot with a Fujifilms W3 and auto-aligned, cropped and it turned to anaglyph with StereoPhoto Maker.

Barry Rothstein
