Noni

Hi All,

Morinda citrifolia, commonly called Noni "is a fruit-bearing tree in the coffee family, Rubiaceae. Its native range extends across Southeast Asia and Australasia, and the species is now cultivated throughout the tropics and widely naturalized." (Wikipedia) "Polynesian healers have used noni fruits for thousands of years to help treat a variety of health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, aches, pains, burns, arthritis, inflammation, tumors, the effects of aging, and parasitic, viral, and bacterial infections." (Google)

I shot this on the big island of Hawaii with a Panasonic Lumix GX7 with frame sides for phantogram processing. The width of this shot was approximately 3-1/2".

Our country lost a great man, congressman and patriot this past week, Elijah Cummings. His leadership and civility in the face of our current polarization make his loss all the harder to bear.

The impeachment inquiry marches on, thanks largely to a number of courageous federal employees who've ignored the white house's demands that they not testify. The evidence of the administration's illegal maneuvers is overwhelming.

Yesterday's news included a court order enabling congress to get the full Mueller Report including grand jury testimony. It's amazing to think it's been withheld from them this long.

Alarming and shameful news also came out regarding the politicization of the US Justice Department, as Barr is choosing to do Trump's bidding to investigate and criminally charge agents of the Justice Department's investigation of the Russian influence that attacked the 2016 election and helped put Trump in the white house.

Sometimes I try to put myself into the point of view of a Trump supporter. I can understand how in the "us" versus "them" politics, they viewed themselves as having won the 2016 election and taken back the country from the liberal, immoral, fetus killing mobs and democrats. Our looking to impeach and remove Trump from office must seem like sour grapes in overdrive, if not illegal. What I have difficulty with is their looking away from Russian influence on Trump and all that Trump has done to help Putin and Russia in return, embracing authoritarian regimes while distancing ourselves from allies, if not betraying them altogether.
