Hiding in Plain Sight
Hello Friends,
Per Wikipedia:
"Borage, also known as starflower, is an annual herb in the flowering plant family Boraginaceae native to the Mediterranean region. Although the plant contains small amounts of pyrrolizidine alkaloids, some parts are edible and its seeds provide oil."
It's flower is extremely attractive, the plant is a great stereo subject, and fascinating to me in that largely the flowers are hiding in plain sight. They point downward, away from our point of view. Warning: if you grab hold of the stem to turn it over to see the flower, you'll pay a thorny price!
I took these shots by lying on my back on a neighbor's driveway, looking up at them, holding my phantogram frame sides in the left hand and Panasonic Lumix GX7 in the right.
If you'd like Universal LRRL views of these shots, email me back and I'll send them to you.
Best regards,
Barry Rothstein
