Native American nativity scene -- by Nancy Martin Hughes

Hi All,

These characters along with a totem too tall to fit in the image made up a vignette created by Nancy Martin Hughes of Burien, Washington. It won the People's Choice Award at last year's Normandy Park Arts Festival. Several northwest tribes are represented. Of the three wise men, the white feathered war bonnet is Nez Perce, wolf mask with a basket of clams is Makah, and conical hat is Tlingit. The holy family are Salish, the shepherds are Colville, and the grizzly bear is Chilkat.

It is a phantogram, so best viewed back at an angle.
