A Time of Uncertainty (plus some fun)
Hi All,
This is another one of those "not-sure-what-this is" I spotted this week walking around the neighborhood. Anyone? I shot it with my Panasonic Lumix GX7 with 3-D lens and frame sides for phantogram processing. The overall width of this image is approximately 3 inches.
On the one hand I'm truly encouraged by Biden and the hit-the-ground-running competency of his cabinet and staffers. We're in a time of crisis on a number of fronts, and it's beyond just refreshing to see leaders taking on the role of leadership.
At the same time I'm horrified that republicans still haven't reached the breaking point, once again giving Trump a pass, this time on inciting an armed uprising at the Capitol building that included murdering a police officer and beating and seriously injuring many more. Who are these people now parroting "it's time to move on." It's sickening that elected representatives aren't willing to stand up for democracy, and it bodes poorly (disastrously) for the future of the USA when a president bent on clinging to power despite all costs is supported by the majority of his party.
OK, now for some fun, mostly for those of you around my age. For the record I was born in 1953, in the "Golden Age" of the rise of television.
