Popcorn Tree
Hello Friends,
Despite its pleasant popcorn aroma, Popcorn Cassia (Senna didymobotrya) is poisonous and should not be eaten. In its native East Africa, it is believed to have medicinal properties but these are not officially recognized by any medical authority and the plant should not be consumed in any way.
I took this shot in my neighborhood in Long Beach, California with a Panasonic Lumix GX7 with 3-D lens made for that camera, using frame sides for phantogram processing. It appears on the back of Macrophant 3D as part of a free-viewing tutorial. Jim McManus made the anaglpyh from a stereo pair.
There's not much time left to buy for this holiday season, so if you've procrastinated this far, I suggest you consider picking up some of my books for gifts. I'm happy to ship direct to you or your friends. All my Phantom3DŽ books and note cards are around half price through to the end of the year. You can find them at http://3ddigitalphoto.com/Products.asp and it might be good to order before the holiday crunch at the post office.
Macrophant 3D at $20/each
Pop-Up 3D at $10/each
Phantograms from Nature at $15/each
Crossview 3-D at $10/each
and
All note cards at $2/each
