Zukes
Hi All,
Beware of the zucchinis, and plant them at the risk of them taking over the garden and strangling out other unsuspecting plant species. Their flowers are interesting and beautiful, even if their vegetables are somewhat lacking in flavor. I pulled away some broad covering leaves took these shots in my sister's garden with my trusty Panasonic Lumix GX7 macro camera with a 3-D lens, using frame sides for phantogram processing. These shots were approximately 4" in width.
Due to the amount of red in their orange blossoms, I chose to use a Dubois anaglyph instead of a full color one. As to what to do with all the zucchini, there's always zucchini bread, and they're pretty good coated with a little olive oil and salt and dehydrated into chips.
Recently I posted a couple of hundred (mostly) phantograms to share with people who own autostereoscopic (3-D with no glasses) tablets. They're in crossview format so anyone wishing to see quite a few good images can use the following dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9x1vb6jp2rqblxy/AACk0ARulq5_pMg2Q89pOXR2a?dl=0
You may notice I've not done much posting lately regarding our current political situation, but not from lack of material to talk about. Like many of you I periodically reach a point of numbness over the ugliness and enormity of the arrogance, nastiness and danger this president and his enablers pose to this country and the world. I hope and pray we can survive the next two years, and take back control of the white house and senate.
I'm volunteering for the Elizabeth Warren campaign, hosting a debate watching party on Wednesday, June 26. I urge you to consider the candidates running for president, speak out and volunteer somewhere. We won't win this fight without a lot of people stepping up and standing up.
