Mexican Dog
One of the most impressive things for me when visiting in Mexico is seeing all the local street dogs. I'm constatntly photographing them. They're everywhere, some pets of specific owners, others independent agents. Unlike our heavily leashed and pampered animals, they lack the neurotic neediness prevalent in dogs in our culture. They welcome a pat or light caress, or a scrap of food. They form their own social order, and easily learn to get along nicely with people, other dogs & cats.
I invite you to print this image so as to be able to see it properly, back from an angle.
I send out a weekly email of these. If you'd like to be included, please go to the contact page and send me an email.
