Jack
Hi All,
This was a quick and lucky point and shoot shot of Jack, a neighborhood dog I met this past week while walking Pepper. I took it with a Fuji W3 stereo camera and approximated it into a phantogram by matching up blades of grass and markings on the sidewalk on the left and right images. This image would be best viewed if you lay your cellphone or tablet flat on a tabletop and view from above at an angle.
This week Lev Parnas, a key henchman in Trump's and Guiliani's Ukraine scheme, provided us with not just words but lots of paper and digital records of his efforts. His words and records implicated numerous members of Trump's cabinet as well as members of congress. As he put it, echoing Gordon Sondland's testimony, "Everyone was in the loop," including Pence, Perry, Nunez, Pompeo, and Bolton.
Like Michael Cohen and Rick Gates before him, and various others now in prison or awaiting criminal convictions or sentencing, Parnas appears to have been drawn to Trump like a moth drawn to a bright hot light. Once indited and dismissed by Trump as having barely known them, they've stepped forward with valuable, truthful accounts of their misadventures on Trump's behalf.
If you've been living under a rock or in a sensory deprivation chamber this past week you might not have heard about Parnas' allegations about Trump's cult-like circle of cronies. One of the more remarkable things about Trump is his ability to draw others into taking part in shady, criminal activities on his behalf, and then distance himself from them when they've been arrested and charged.
The upcoming impeachment trial should be at the very least interesting, and I implore you to give it some of your attention. If you take pride in having grown up in America and believe living in a free society is a good thing, then you have a stake in what goes down.
