Elliot
Hello Friends,
Say hi to Elliot, a fairly recent addition to our local dog pack. Elliot's a good boy unless another dog tries to take a toy he likes. I shot this with a Fuji W3 and approximated it into a phantograms by selecting right-eye shot corner points and matching up blades of grass in the left-eye shot.
Here's another pitch for Macrophant 3D, a book or macro phantograms by Jim McManus and me. It's a large, thick coffee table book, the best book I'll ever produce, and priced affordably. Check it out at http://macrophant3d.com/ and when ordering use promo code 25 to have a signed copy delivered to you for just $25 (USA only - outside the USA $20 plus shipping).
I'll be holding a zoom workshop on Saturday, September 18 at 10am pacific time on making "tabletop phantograms", hosted by the Los Angeles 3D Club. The link for it will be http://www.la3d.club. Tabletop phants are the best way to start making phantograms, and they can be a lot easier than most people think. I'll be teaching:
1) how to shoot a tabletop phantogram with just a) a sheet of paper; and b) a cellphone (or any digital 2D or stereo camera).
2) how to process the phantograms in both Photoshop and StereoPhoto Maker
