Iris
Hi All,
This iris was perhaps a block from my house, and this type of them is very common in our neighborhood. I shot it with a Panasonic Lumix GX7 using frame sides for phantogram processing. The overall width of this shot was approximately 3 inches.
The backdrop was complex and distracting, so I masked the flower out. For the sake of minimizing "ghosting" I chose to use a Dubois anaglyph instead of a more standard color anaglyph, and I made the backdrop the same color as the yellow streak in the flower.
Maker Faire is coming up two weeks from now at the San Mateo County Event Center. I'll be there with other fellow LA3DClub members, hundreds of other makers and many thousands of attendees. If you've never been to that event and can get there, think about going. If you've been you already know.
More of the same song and dance from the white house and attorney general this past week, trying to quash any clear understanding of what happened. I don't think we can expect anything else from them. Here's to hoping to see Meuller testify soon and share his findings with congress and us.
