Black-Eyed Susan or ???

Hello Friends,

I took this image six months in August ago hiking around Santa Fe, New Mexico. I'm not sure what it is. Google Lens suggested a common sunflower or rosilla, Plant Net indicated it might be a black-eyed susan. Regardless what it is I like it a lot as a 3-D macro subject. I shot it with a Panasonic Lumix GX7 with 3-D lens, using frame sides for phantogram processing.

I often enjoy photographing elaborate flora in decay. Perhaps it reminds me of my own mortality.
