Let It Rain
Hello Friends,
For the past few weeks we've seen cool weather in southern California with a lot of rain. Cool for us at least, with highs in the low 60s and lows into the 40s (fahrenheit). I'm not looking for any sympathy from the majority of you who experience actual winter weather. I do feel for friends in northern California who are getting whalloped by the "atmospheric river" torrential rains last week with more to come this week.
For whatever reason I've been hearing Eric Clapton's "Let It Rain" in my head the past couple of days. Often when we've gotten substantial rain I'll keep an eye out for mushrooms. This is one of my early outdoor phantograms, taken in November, 2005, at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. This shot pre-dated any of my two-camera setups or 2 lens cameras. It was shot with a Canon G3 digital camera, using a home-made slide bar and frame sides for phantogram processing.
Best regards,
Barry Rothstein
