Owenstone - The Next Day We Get Paid

Hi All,

Back in January a number of 3-D notables spent a weekend shooting a 3-D music video of my son Nathan's band, Owenstone, their song "The Next Day We Get Paid". With a strong melody and great instrumentation, it's an everyman song with the chorus:

"We sweat and slave
and sell and trade
our lives away,
our lives to pay

the rent, the car,
the food, the bar,
the rainy days
till the next day we get paid."

This shot is from a green screen segment in which Nate's head will appear through a dollar bill.

My own job on this shoot was mainly to pay for it. Also I acted as caterer for the weekend, but in the process we assembled a crew including Eric Kurland as stereographer, Scott Ressler as director of photography, with further assistance from Shyam Kannapurakkaran and Shannon Benna. Even Lawrence Kaufman made an appearance there. The design of the video and its sets were by Nate.

We expect to debut the 3-D version of this music video on Sunday August 17 at the Downtown Independent Theatre in Los Angeles.
