Cellphone Cha-Chas of a Squirrel
Hello Friends,
I'm often amazed at the quality of today's cellphone pictures. Hanging out at El Dorado Park in Long Beach after some over-the-line softball yesterday I took a number of cha-cha shots (shoot for the left eye, slide over a little, shoot for the right eye) of this squirrel hoping it would be more or less still between the two shots. This one came the closest to no movement between the shots with just a little bit of difference around the squirrel's mouth due to it eating a peanut.
The shots were taken with a Google Pixel 6 Pro, auto-aligned and cropped in StereoPhoto Maker, and adjusted a little more in Photoshop. Not a great shot, but not awful either.
For those of you who requested a memorial note card of Pepper last week, they're on the way, you should have it soon. It's not too late to request one, just reply with your name and mailing address.
I feel a rant brewing in me, but it's not to the point of being ready to share. It's along the line of an open letter to the young men in our country, asking them to wake up, man up, and concider how entirely stupid they'd be to vote for DJT this November. Not only is he dangerous and uniquely unqualified to lead us, but it's well past time that we elect a woman to run our country. Kamala is a great choice, and I look forward to frequently hearing the term "Madame President". If you have any ideas for this letter, please reply.
Best regards,
Barry Rothstein
